Laser cutters/engravers are incredibly versatile tools. I’m fortunate in that I’ve been able to access some very nice equipment thanks to a class I took a few years ago, and through my current employer at the University of Wisconsin. Below are some projects I’ve dabbled in recently. The land cover map in particular turned into quite the epic effort! If you’re interested in gaining more experience with lasers, see if there is a makerspace in your area. It’s a great way to get started.
